Sportsbook, Shop Sign-In, and Leaderboard Data

When you use the Hat Trick Off-Track Sportsbook, Shopify authenticates your customer account through its Customer Account service. The sportsbook receives a stable account identifier, converts it to a one-way hashed identifier, and does not retain your Shopify password, full payment information, shipping address, order history, customer name, or email address for sportsbook operation.

We store sportsbook information associated with the hashed identifier, including your public nickname, fictional Hat Bucks balance, submitted picks, settlements, leaderboard position, reward eligibility, account-claim status, and security/audit timestamps. Your public nickname, Hat Bucks balance, correct picks, settled picks, and rank may appear publicly on the leaderboard. Do not choose a nickname that reveals personal information.

Sportsbook records are processed using Shopify and Cloudflare infrastructure. We use this information to operate the game, prevent duplicate or abusive participation, settle picks using publicly available sports scores, maintain rankings, administer rewards, investigate errors, and comply with legal obligations.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible sportsbook information by contacting info@hattrick.nyc. Some contest, fraud-prevention, transaction, and audit records may be retained as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Deletion during an active promotion may make an entry ineligible because we can no longer verify it.
